Elman was Public Affairs officer at Pacifica Foundation, WBAI radio from 1961-64 and produced over 40 programs on the arts and politics. He also read from some of his own work which included, poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. These broadcasts are available here, thanks to the help of archivists at the Pacifica Foundation who have digitized Elman's broadcasts.
The broadcasts are divided into three categories: Elman reading and discussing his own work, then broadcasts he produced on the politics, culture, and literature.
